Raila’s Successor Discussion Commence
Raila’s successor. Discussion on who will succeed Azimio Leader who has served as an opposition leader so many years now commences.
Raila Odinga is soon going to retire from active politics. This calls for discussion on the suitable candidate who will take his position.
Babu Owino has distanced himself from taking part while Raila us still active in politics.
According to Babu Owino, the respect he has for Raila cannot allow him to be part of the team discussing Raila’s successor.
“I respect Raila so much, I love him with my soul. I love him to death. The discussion about who will succeed Azimio leader Raila Odinga is off the table for me”. Babu said.
Speaking to media, Babu Owino said that having such discussions while Raila is still around amounts to ‘treason’.
He added that holding discussion and suggesting Names while someone is still in power is disrespect.
“I can never discuss succession politics when Baba (Raila) is still there because he is my leader, that amounts to ‘treason’,” he said.
In his statement Babu cited the law of power which say that never discuss the succession of a kind while the king is still alive.
He further said that the believe he has in God, there his always good plans in future and there is need to rush into decision making when you can wait for a little bit longer.
In the recent days leaders have come out to voice their opinions on who will be Raila’s successor.
On the same not Siaya Senator Dr Oburu Oginga has denied claims that he has endorsed l Raila’s successor, saying he has no such powers.
” I have not anointed any politician to take over the mantle from Raila as the next Luo political kingpin”, Oburu said.
In an interview in Kisumu Oburu said Raila was firmly, politically fit, overwhelmingly good and in charge.
