Form 4 students beat up school Principal
Police officers have launched an investigation after a school Principal was assaulted by form 4 students for giving them sugarless porridge for breakfast. The investigation into circumstances that led to the incident on God Bura Secondary School principal Collins Omondi are on.
The school principal was assaulted by the students, who allegedly accused him of giving them porridge without sugar.
According to a report from the police, the school head was in his house when the learners knocked on his door on Friday last week.

The students then forced him out of his quarters and landed on him with blows and kick while accusing him of allowing school cooks to serve them with sugarless porridge.
The learners further accused the school principal of mismanaging the school even as they insisted on taking him to a nearby police station, Magunga police station.
The school Principal was taken to Magunga Level Four Hospital for a medical examination following the assault before being referred for an X-ray. According to the reports, he sustained chest injuries.
The attack on the principal was condemned with Paul Mbara, chairman of the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association in Suba, urging parents and students to use other means to resolve conflicts.

Samson Kiine, Homa Bay County police commander has said that they are investigating the incident alongside the Ministry of Education.
He further added that they were investigation who helped the students, adding that a group of parents were seen joining the students during the fracas.
On another incident, a group of parents in Otok Secondary School in Karachuonyo constituency, Homa Bay County, were left regretting their action to storm into the school after they were allegedly flogged by students leaving them writhing in pain.
The angry parents were not happy with the Ministry of Education’s decision to transfer the school’s principal and the parents had embarked on a mission to remove the new one.
