KPLC Confirms Countrywide Blackout
Countryside Blackout. A power outage that is currently affecting majority of the nation has been announced by Kenya Power.
In a statement released on Saturday night, the power distributor acknowledged the blackout and stated that it had affected most of the nation, albeit it did not name the specific regions.
Some areas of the nation are without power. The statement said, “Our engineers are working to restore supply to the affected areas.”

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused our clients. We’ll provide an update later on the status of the restoration and the reason behind the power loss.
Kenya Power has sent out technical experts to restore normalcy, while apologizing for any difficulties caused to the public.
Please be aware that the loss of our bulk 66kV supply is having an impact.
