NSSF has Announced Vacancies in Several Positions
The National Social Security Fund has announced vacancies in various positions.
In a notice, there are 336 positions that NHIF is seeking to be filled by competent people.
“The National Social Security Fund has service delivery points spread across the country and is seeking to enhance the capacity of its human resource to achieve its obligations of service delivery to all Kenyans,” reads the notice.
“The Fund seeks to recruit experienced and energetic Kenyans to fill these vacancies from the positions.”
Some of the positions include six posts for Regional manager, 19 for assistant manager, 15 for branch manager, 28 for senior principal officer, 24 for accountant, 2 for security officer, 2 for records officer, 78 for principal officer and 46 for management trainees among others.
Interested people are advised to submit their curriculum vitae at Social Security houses by December 11, 2023.
Data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Quarterly Labour Force report for October –December 2022 that was released in February reveals Kenya’s unemployment fell to 960,001 (4.9 per cent) in the December 2022 period from 1,055,816 (5.6 per cent) in the corresponding quarter in 2021.
The government has severally said it would provide job opportunities for youths.
Last week, Public Service and Delivery Management Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria said his ministry will soon unveil the ‘Jobo Bila Connection initiative’ portal.
The CS said the portal will help Kenyans apply for jobs in the public sector regardless of their background.
In the public sector, we are going to lead from the front in being an equal opportunities employer. We will soon develop a portal for all Kenyans to apply for jobs in the public sector regardless of their background dubbed the Jobo Bila Connection initiative,” he said.
“The youth unemployment matter should be a concern for all of us because we are not safe unless all of us are safe.”
