TSC Issues Show Cause Letters For TPAD Non-Compiance
The Teacher Service Commission(TSC) has issued show-cause letters to teachers who failed to fill the Teacher Performance Appraisal Document (TPAD).
The commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr Nancy Macharia is responsible for recruitment promotion, remuneration and discipline teachers.
Teachers have heard difficult moments since the introduction of the Teacher Professional Appraisal Document (TPAD) in striking a balance between teaching and filling online TPAD.
Additionally, teachers have been unable to fill their Tpads due to poor network coverage in many parts of the country.
TSC is now using all its powers to punish both TDC and BoM teachers for failing to submit their Tpads before the deadline.
The move to serve TPAD non-compliance with show cause why letters through the Sub-county directors of education has caught teachers aware.
The affected teachers are expected to explain to their respective supervisors why they failed to meet the deadline as it was earlier directed by TSC.
According to a report from a trusted source, the affected teachers are at risk for they will face disciplinary action from their employer as per the TSC code of conduct.
In the recent past the Teachers Service Commission has introduced a series if changes in the teaching profession which ended up bringing a lot of confusion among the teachers.
These changes have for sure become a challenge in the teaching profession.
