Most preferred and Selected Schools by 2021 KCPE Candidates
Education CS Prof George Magoha on Monday, April 11 presided over the Form One selection for the 2021 Certificate Of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates.
According to CS Magoha, 1,225,502 KCPE 2021 candidates whose results we released two weeks ago have been placed in 9,200 public schools.The CS noted that some KCPE candidates did not receive proper guidance on school selection which resulted in some schools attracting far many applicants against their capacities.
Some of the most preferred schools that were selected by the 2021 candidates include;
✓ Mangu high school with a total of 93,000 candidates choosing the school.
✓ Moi Girls Eldoret 92,600 candidates picked as their school of choice.
✓ Butere High School with a total of 98,500 candidates choosing the school.
✓ KAPSABET BOYS 99,000 candidates picked as their school of choice.
✓ Pangani Girls 118,000 candidates preferred as their school of choice.
✓ Alliance girls high school 109,400 candidates.
✓ Alliance boys high school 99,000 candidates.
✓ Nakuru High School 108,000 candidates choosing the school.
✓ Kabianga Boys High School with a total of 149,000 candidates choosing.
✓ Nanyuki High School with a total of 156,000 candidates choosing the school.
CS Magoha also announced that form one students would report to their respective schools on May 3, 2022.
