KNEC:How To Confirm 2022 KCSE, KCPE and KPSEA Registration Details
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has provided a Short Message Service (SMS) number which will help parents confirm the registration of their children for the upcoming 2022 national examinations for both secondary and primary schools.
Class eight (8) LEARNERS will sit for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) while the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will be done by learners in Grade 6 learners.
Form 4 learners in secondary schools will sit for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Thousands of learners have been registered for the three forementioned national examinations and are waiting to sit for their National Examinations after years of preparing for those examinations.
It is advisable to check regi details so as avoid disappointment which when students discover too late that school’s administration failed to register them.
To avoid this embarrassment of registration, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has now provided an SMS number to be used to confirm learners’ registration. The number provided is 20076.
To confirm the registration of your learner, you are required to send an SMS containing the learner’s index starting with the word KCPE or KPSEA or KCSE. For instance, if your child is index number 123456012, and he is set to sit for her KCSE, you will send KCSE123456012 to 20076.
KNEC will then send a reply to confirm the registration details of your child.
For Grade Six learners, assessment numbers will be provided in the school where they are registered.
Dates for 2022 national examinations
KNEC has already released timetables, Grade 6, class 8 and Form 4 examinations. KPSEA examinations WI start between the 28th and the 30th of November 2022. The rehearsal day will be on the 25th of November 2022.
On the other hand, KCPE candidates will sit for their examinations on the same day as the Grade 6 candidates with rehearsal day also on the 25 of May 2022.
For Form 4 candidates, they shall sit for their KCSE examinations from the 21st of November 2022 till the 23rd of December 2022 with rehearsal scheduled on the 18th of November 2022.
