Azimio Government: Category of Kenyans who qualifies for 6k monthly stipend
Contrary to what you think not everyone will receive monthly stipend of six thousand if Azimio Presidential candidate wins the general election.
Raila says that it will unrealistic to give every Kenyan citizen the monthly stipend. However, if he is elected as the president during the august elections he will ensure that all those living below the poverty line will receive the monthly stipend.
Odinga was speaking in a media interview. He said that the programme will reduce poverty in the country. Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate promised to implement the program once he is elected as the president.

He further dismissed the social perception that the program is very unrealistic, emphasizing that the programme is realistic and achievable.
To back up his claims, odinga explained that his agenda is in operation ( working) elsewhere in Africa. But mostly the social protection program has been in place in United States, United Kingdom and Brazil, he added.
On specifics category of Kenyans who qualifies for the monthly stipend, Raila said that the programme is targeting over two million families in Kenya who are living below poverty line. In total, it is about eight million Kenyans who have been profiled by Kenya National Bureau of Statics who will benefit from the social protection programme.
In one month alone a total of twelve billion shillings will be used as stipend and this amounts to one hundred and forty four billion shillings per year, Odinga explained.
