Five Teachers Charged with Negligence Over Indecent Dancing of Students
Five teachers are facing charges over a video that went viral on social media showing a group of students dancing inside a school bus Indecently. The five are facing charges of negligence.
Police have charged the five teachers including Joseph and Lydia with failure to prevent a felony. This is after a video emerged showing students dancing suggestively inside the bus while on a school trip.
Police spokesperson have accused the educators of not being strict on the youngsters thus allowing them to misbehave.
The teenagers were captured in the video simulating sexual activities on a bus that had been hired from another School to ferry the students to an agricultural show, a school trip.
Teachers who were accompanying the learners were overwhelmed and could not do a thorough supervision while on board.
Police spokesperson maintained that every educator is charged with the responsibility of monitoring and supervising students under their care.
The teachers did not warn the students instead they left them to behave in an enregious and unsafe manner.
The incident serves as eye-opener to the teachers and school administrators on how to handle learners.
The bus that was used to carry the students for the agricultural show had 73 students instead of 67.The overcrowding made it difficult for the teachers to effectively supervise the adrenaline-filled teenagers.
The authorities have recommended that the learners involved in the indecent act and those who were taking the video be suspended immediately.
