List of 115,099 teachers who have been promoted and 42,000 others who have been registered
A new report states that the Teacher Services commission (TSC) has promoted several teachers and enrolled new teachers in a new move to balance teachers, with a large number of qualified teachers being unemployed.
At the same time, there are thousands of teachers who were lining up for promotions but there are controversy and confusion about the criteria that was used to promote teachers.
Under the program, a total of 115,110 teachers have been promoted in accordance with the Career Development Guidelines (CPG), with 42,795 new enrollments in the 2020/2021 financial year.
According to the TSC report to the National Assembly dated May 19, 2022, 2020/2021, and the financial statements under review, 99,078 have been promoted in the General Staff Organization.
15407 elected by competitive selection, with 625 institutional administrators leading the approval process, affirmative confirmation.
The cadres in this category were 1,096 Deputy Principals, 39 for senior teachers, 1590 Deputy Principals III, 209 curriculum support staff and 2111 head teacher.
Another 6,680 Senior Masters IV, 1765 Deputy Teacher II, 45 Senior Teachers IV, 134 Senior Master IV, 723 Deputy Principal II and 100 secondary teachers I.
625 teachers were promoted under the endorsement, including 27 deputy principals of D2 class, 17 senior masters II and D1 class III, 74 deputy principals in class I and C5, and only C5 class teachers female senior master III.
The others are 36 senior teachers in class C4, 248 senior teachers in class C4, 38 secondary teachers in class C3, 53 senior teachers in class C3, only 1 female secondary teacher in class C2, 37 senior teachers in C2 class II, and 93 teachers, P1 teachers, in class C1.
According to the report, a total of 94,176 teachers have been appointed as part of the General Staff during the review period. (See the list of the teachers for more details here).
