Yatta School Broken Into and Thieves Get Away With Money
Police in Yatta, Machakos county have commenced investigations after thieves broke into Ngangani Primary School.
The incident happened yesterday night where the thieves made away with seven thousand six hundred and forty Kenya shillings that was kept in the office of the Head teacher.
Beatrice Munyiva, the area chief confirmed the incident. Kinyaata location chief said that the security guard on duty that night went missing since the incident.
The guard who was not immediately identified neither went back home nor the school thus causing tension among his family and the school.
The security man who was on duty the day of incident has been missing, his family claiming he never went home and they haven’t seen him since. His disappearance raising questions on whether he was involved in the incident.
The police have launched a manhunt for the suspects that were involved in the robbery.
Members of the public have been asked to give any information that may assist in arresting the suspects.
