KMTC Minimum Entry Requirements For All Its Courses
Kenya Medical Training College releases the latest official minimum entry requirements for all its courses across all campuses.
In order to enroll in KMTCKMTC to pursue a certificate course, a student must have at least a C- on their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations in cluster courses (KCSE).
For a student to enroll in diploma programs, applicants must have received a minimum grade of C in cluster points
Basic requirement for upgrading kmtc courses is a certificate in the relevant field.
Take note that all candidates for Higher Diploma programs must have completed a Diploma course successfully in accordance with the requirements listed below.
1. Length of and prerequisites for higher diploma courses
A student with a minimum of two years of professional experience and a basic diploma in the pertinent subjects. This training program lasts a full year.
2. The time necessary to complete a diploma course and its requirements. The Basic entry requirements;
All the applicants must have a mean KCSEKCSE grade of C (or equivalent) and an acceptable combination of other subjects, such as English, Kiswahili, biology, and other biological sciences, as well as mathematics, chemistry, physics, and other physical sciences.
The training lasts three years, as opposed to the three and a half years required for community health nursing.
KMTC Minimum Entry Requirements
The time needed to complete upgrading and the requirements:
Candidates must have at least two years of professional experience and a degree in the necessary fields.
The Training lasts two years, with the exception of Community Health Nursing, which lasts for 18 months.
An aggregate grade of C-minus or higher is required, along with the necessary combination of other subjects.
Stated duration of instruction lasts two years, with the exception of nursing, which requires two and a half years to complete.
