Video of a Kenyan woman Breastfeeding a Dog
A Kenyan woman shocks many as her video goes viral as she was breastfeeding a dog. She left the country to Saudi Arabia two months after giving birth.
Francis Atwoli cotu secretary General has urged the government to abolish all employment agencies brokering job opportunities for Kenyans in foreign countries especially Saudi Arabia.
He said it is necessary to protect Kenyans migrating to work in other countries especially in Saudi Arabia and that can only be achieved by banning brokering agencies promoting domestic jobs outside the country.
He appealed to the government to follow what was done during Kibaki’s regime – all employment agencies were banned.
Atwoli added that the government should negotiate with Saudi Arabia government on employment terms and conditions. This will improve the working conditions for Kenyans working there.
The woman filmed breastfeeding puppies is said to have left the country after giving birth. On reaching Saudi, her employer noticed that she could breastfeed and that is when she was employed to breastfeed puppies.
The treatment that Kenyan citizens are given when working outside the country especially in the Middle East denies them the respect and dignity they should be given as humans and citizens of an independent country like Kenya, Atwoli added.
Cotu Secretary General made an appeal to the President to eliminate all agencies of employment and further review issues related to employment outside the country. The International Labor Organization have also advocated for the same.
