Four Students Arrested With Toy Guns At A Supermarket In Naivasha
Police officers in Naivasha have detained four students who were caught with toy guns.
Four younsters were arrested after they tried to break into a supermarket along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.When questioned, the four men could not account for the lack of school and reason for carrying toy guns.
Police sources said the toy was covered with black masking tape. He said he suspected that the four men might be behind a string of robberies in the city.
The four students could not explain why they left the school or why they brought the toy gun, and we believe there was a motive,” the officer said.
Naivasha OCPD Samuel Waweru confirmed the arrest and said DCI officers are investigating whether the youths are involved in crime in the area.The stories given by these children do not add up and they will definitely face the law,” said Waweru.
Meanwhile, the police recovered two trucks stolen in Mahi Mahiu.The trucks were found in Narok on their way to neighboring countries. The robbery suspects managed to escape.
“We think that some drivers are working with these suspects and it will take us less time to find them,” Waweru said.
