Yesterday the National Assembly approved all the 51 principal secretaries nominees, paving way for their swearing-in today.
Their approval has also given the President, the engine that he requires to run the government in his administration.
The approval of the ps nominees brings an end to the term of the former PSs who served in the former government. Only six PSs who served during that regime were retained but they will be serving different ministries in the new regime. The number of PSs also increased from the previous 44 to the current 51.
Here are the new principal Secretaries and the ministries they will be serving in the first term of President William Ruto.

The PSs will now join 22 Cabinet secretaries who have been in office. The final ceremony will be the swearing-in of the PSs. This comes after the PSs were approved by the National Assembly following the end of their vetting by various departmental committees yesterday.
