The Principal Osonkoroi Secondary in Transmara West and his Deputy are among eight people being held by police over exam related malpractices.
Others who are being questioned are the school bursar, two police officers, two invigilators and one supervisor.
Confirming the incident, Transmara West Deputy County Commissioner Mohamed Hassan Noor said that the Sub County security team pounced on the suspects following intelligence reports that they were taking photos of exam papers and circulating them on social media.
Detectives confiscated five mobile phones from the suspects which helped them establish that the Chemistry theory paper two had indeed been circulated on social media.
The suspects will be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.
