Two children died in a fire incident at Uthiru village, Kabete Constituency in Kiambu county.
The two, aged nine years and four years perished when their house was razed by fire on Tuesday.
Property worth thousands of shillings was also lost even as residents called on Kiambu County Government to construct emergency stations in nearby towns to avert more loses in the future.
In a separate incident, one child died after their house was gutted down by fire in Wangige village in Kiambu.
Confirming the incidents, Kabete Sub County Police Commander Joseph Muriuki said detectives from Directorate of Criminal Investigation have commenced the investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
