A teacher has sadly died just after coming from celebrating his school’s good performance in last year’s Form Four exams.
Musoma Technical Secondary School got good results in last year’s exams and teachers from the school met up to celebrate the good results.
According to the school’s headteacher Magita Nyangore, 80 out of 119 students scored solid As in Biology, which the teacher, identified as Aloice, taught in the school.
This was a significant improvement from the previous year’s results which stood at 71 As.
Aloice was also a teacher of sign language before he took up biology.
Reports have indicated that Gaudence Aloice was involved in a hit-and-run accident on January 29, on Nyerere Road in Musoma area when he was going home after the celebrations.
His students were saddened and praised him as a teacher who always wanted them to understand the subject.
