A Night Runner To Sue Ministry Of Education And KNEC For Marking Fail In KCSE
A famed night runners from Homa Bay County has today threatened to sue the ministry of education and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) for allegedly making him fail in KCSE.
Mr Jack Songo (The renowned night runner from Homa Bay) has vowed to sue education CS professor George Magoha and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) for making him fail KCSE exams after he was forced to write the papers during daytime.
Mr Jack Songo has revealed that he sat for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams in 2019 and managed to score a mean grade of C- .
According to the night runner if the education CS and Knec would have granted him the right to seat for KCSE exams at night he would have scored excellent in the forementioned examination.
“I am sure I was to excel in the 2019 KCSE examination only the ministry of education and the Kenya National Examinations Council allowed me to sit for the examination at night instead of daytime”, the night runner said in an interview.
Mr Songo who hit the media spotlight in 2015 for leading the lobby to represent the night runners, has argued that he’s norcturnal and that he sees well at night and that his brain functions well at night compared to daytime.
His decision to sue the ministry of education and the Kenya National Examinations Council has attacked mixed reactions with many Netizens left speechless.
This comes when the national exams are set to begin on Monday next week across the country for KCPE exams before KCSE exams start in a week’s time.
