Drama: mathematics teacher beaten by his form four students
Some form four boys decided to work on their teacher of mathematics perpendicular with blows and kicks after which they hit him badly with a sharp object.
The notorious boys are now being held at police station awaiting to face criminal charges at a court of law once the investigations have been concluded.
It is reported that the mathematics teacher was on duty. On his routine to ensure everything was in order, he spotted the boys with a mobile phone. Upon noticing the teacher’s presence they hid the phone.
When the teacher asked them to surrender the phone they refused. The teacher began to search for them to retrieve the phone where the boys started to land on him with blows and kicks.
Luckily other colleagues intervened and saved the teacher from the hands of the unruly boys. However, it is also reported that the unruly boys are repeaters who did not do well in their KCSE and sought to resist the exams.
Meanwhile, on a different story a form two girl, Mellan Njeri, took to streets along Kiambu avenue with placards asking well-wishers to help her raise school fees.
Mellan was sent home to collect a fee balance of twenty-nine thousand, one hundred and seventy-seven shillings. Her mother could not raise the money and that is when Mellan decided to go to the streets and ask for any help from good wishers.
Mellan is a fifteen-year-old girl schooling at Kihumbuini secondary school. The school is found in Murang’a County. She was sent home this month on the tenth to bring the fee balance that she owe the school.
The standard media group found the girl on the streets with the banner on. She had only managed to get five hundred shillings since morning up to around 2 pm. She had walked several streets but could not get a reasonable amount to help her clear her arrears.
