Telecommunications service provider Safaricom has announced that all the Mpesa services will be unavailable due to maintenance of its services geared to ensure that the demands and needs of customers are met.
In a circuslar released on Friday, November 5th, Safaricom announced the need to constantly transform its services to meet the needs of its customers for quality services and this is the reason behind the scheduled Mpesa maintenance.

The statement further stated that maintenance of the Safaricom service provider is meant to support the continued transformation to enhance quality services.
The Mpesa services will therefore be unavailable on Saturday 6th November 2021 from 2359h to Sunday 7th November 0400h. The circular stated.
The telecommunication company announced that during this period, all the Mpesa services including sending money, buying airtime among others will be temporarily unavailable.
The telecommunication company usually schedule its maintenance services during the stated time when it is likely to cause minimum inconvenience to the customers.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the scheduled time,” Safaricom service provider said.
