Class Monitor Rewarded Big for Seperating Fight Between Teacher and Student
Among the many roles and responsibilities of a class monitor in any school set up, Seperating a teacher and a student who are fighting is not among them.
A brave boy took it upon himself an additional duty of separating fight between his teacher and his classmate. Due to his action the boy has been rewarded big time.
The mother of the from Rose Town in Jamaica, is overjoyed after her son was rewarded handsomely for his good works.
The boy Zachary was gifted two point nine million Kenya shillings so that he can continue with hid studies at Tivoli High School. The boy was awarded in New Kingston at Jamaica Pegasus hotel.
He was rewarded alongside his three other classmates who also intervened during the fight. The three classmates were Douglas DeShawn and Shane McIntosh.
In a video that went viral on social media, the boys are seen struggling to separate the duo, teacher and student, from fighting.
Their efforts of peacemaking were not in vain as they managed to stop the due from killing each other. During an event titled ‘An Evening of Lyme, Laughter and Top Class Theatre’ the four were rewarded as well for their efforts.
Zachary when questioned over the incident, he said he could not just stand there and do nothing, he had to intervene. He further advised his classmates to think first before taking action and to stop fights if they can.
A moral lesson from the incident that we can all learn is that when we step out of our way to help others in any capacity we are opening our doors for immense blessings and rewards unknowingly. Always help others whenever you can without hesitating. You never just know.
