*CS Magoha’s Addresses Corporal Punishment Issue in Curbing Indiscipline*
Professor George Magoha, cabinet secretary under ministry of education, has now encouraged the government to reinstate corporal punishment in schools because it is the most effective approach to stop the rising instances of student indiscipline cases reported.
Under this such, Magoha has proposed that indisciplined learners shouldn’t be given as much freedom as they have now.
According to magoha , instead of leaving everything up to teachers , parents are to discipline and guide their kids.

His argument followed a fire incident that destroyed property at Kisumu Boys High School.
CS categorically affirmed that parents would have to bear the cost of the damages following the fire incident that came two days after schools re-opened for Second Term.
