CS to release 2023 KCSE results today at Moi girls Eldoret, here is what is expected
Ezekiel Machogu the Cabinet Secretary for Education will be releasing the results of the 2023 KCSE exams today, January 8, 2024, at Moi Girls Eldoret after a long wait.
An official from the office of the Cabinet Secretary, who sought anonymity, disclosed that the results will be released after pressure from many parents who complained about the delay which has led to anxiety among candidates.
Mr. John, not his real identity, pointed out that the delay was necessitated by new grading system unveiled by the Presidential Working Party Task Force on Education (PWPTF).
Parents and candidates who sat the exams will receive the news through the media and can access the through the Kenya National Examination Council portal.
The official revealed that the KCSE 2023 report reveals that very few cases of cheating were detected in the examinations compared to the previous year which is very true as the examiners who participated in the marking of the exams can testify to that.
The official said that a few cases of cheating were detected and dealt with accordingly even when the exams were going on as a few centre managers and invigilators of suspected schools were suspended.

He further revealed that schools in Nyanza region are likely to top in the 2023 KCSE examinations since most schools, especially from Kisii County, have impressive results.
The news has raised the hopes of stakeholders from Nyambaria National School and Cardinal Otunga Mosocho who scooped position one and two respectively in KCSE 2022.
Other schools from Nyanza region likely to perform well include Asumbi Girls, St Paul’s Igonga , Maseno School and Nyabururu Girls owing to their impressive performance in the past years.
