The 2020/2021 candidates have a reason to smile as the Kenya university and College central placement service board is set to release the results on placement and courses today. The results are set to be released by Education Cabinet Secretary Professor Magoha.
The students who did not qualify for placement due to stiff competition in their selected courses will be known too.
Universities and courses that are highly preferred shall also be revealed.
The results could not be released earlier because of revision. Considering that all revisions on course and university selection are complete, the results are ready hence will be released.
The placement process for all the candidates who scored C+ and above has been concluded hence the agency is set to release the results officially.
The application for placement began in May this year where all the candidates who scored C+ and above were given the opportunity to select the university and colleges of their choice and the courses they wish to pursue.
After the closing application period, placement began and those who didn’t secure a chance were given another chance to revise their choices.
Revision period ended July towards the end of the month. And now the results can be released anytime once everything has been concluded.
Close to 4,360 candidates participated in the revision exercise as per the report from kuccps.
