Public Service Commission (PSC) has released full list of names of 8,610 PSC interns appointed for state jobs.
The interns will be earn a monthly stipend at a rate determined by the government.
The appointed Kenyans for the state job will serve in various departments under its Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP).
The interns are the sixth cohort to be appointed to the programme.
The commission said Kenyans can check the list on its website and the PSC job portal.
The Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) is a government youth empowerment programme whose main objective is to offer college graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build skills in order to enhance their chances for employment, networking, and entrepreneurship.

In August PSC extended the application period for the recruitment of over 8,000 interns to government ministries, departments, and agencies.
The internship program lasts for 12 months and is non-renewable.
For an appointment to an internship position, the commission noted that a candidate must meet several requirements. The requirements include:
1. He or she must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
2. The candidate must have graduated no earlier than the year 2017 and be proficient in computer skills.
3. They are expected to complete duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors.
4. He or she will also document relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment.
5. In addition, they will actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
According to the advertisement, the interns who successfully completes the program will be awarded a certificate of service.
