Good News To KCSE Students Who Scored Grage D Following Today’s Crucial KENHA Announcement.
KENHA Announces scholarships for KCSE candidates, minimum grade requirements and courses to be offered.
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has made crucial announcement for KCSE students who scored mean grade of D.
KeNHA has announced openings for applications for scholarships targeting students who scored D- and below in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
KeNHA made the announcement today 22nd of February through a notice.
The agency has revealed that three technical colleges have been picked to offer training for successful applicants.
The technical training colleges chosen are Kaiboi Technical Training Institute, Kitale Vocational Training Centre and Vera College.
The following are some of the courses to be offered under the scholarships announced.
- Agricultural engineering
- Electrical Wireman
- Motor Vehicle Mechanics
- Wielding and Fabrication
- Carpentry
- Masonry
- Fashion design
- Electrical and Electronics Technology
The aim of this scholarship is to support a capacity development process during the project period that will assist the youth and people living with disabilities to be considered for training.
The scholarship is comprehensive and covers tuition fees, boarding fees and a token for the students themselves.
Interested applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Be able to read and write and live in informal settlements
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years
- Application Procedure
- Download the application form from the KeNHA website and fill it.
- Drop the filled form at the designated KeNHA offices.
Scholarships will be awarded based on a comparative evaluation of the applications received, the requirements met and the criteria relating to the merit gotten in relation with other government agencies.
A list of successful candidates will be published by KENHA after the selection process.
