The late Collins Powell become the first Black US secretary of state. He offered leadership in several Republican administrations. During his reign in the late 20th century and early 21st century he helped to shape American foreign policy to a large extent.
According to CNN news, his family reported io n Facebook that Powell succumbed to the covid-19 pandemic. The family members also said that Powell has died while he is 84 years old.
