KCB M-Banking Services Will Be Unavailable On This Date
The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has announced that the M-banking services will be unavailable over the weekend.
Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Limited is one of the largest financial services provider in Kenya. Its headquarter is in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya and it is licensed as a commercial bank, by the Central Bank of Kenya (the national banking regulator)
The KCB mobile banking services will be unavailable due to the system maintenance of all the Mpesa services by the Safaricom Telecommunications service provider.
In a circular dated 5th November 2021, Safaricom announced that all the Mpesa services will be unavailable due to maintenance of its services aiming at ensuring that the demands and needs of customers are met.
The circular stated that there is a need for Safaricom service provider to constantly transform their services to meet the needs of their customers for quality services.
The statement further stated that maintenance of the Safaricom service provider is meant to support the continued transformation to enhance quality services.
The Mpesa services and KCB mobile banking services will therefore be unavailable on Saturday 6th November 2021 from 2359h to Sunday 7th November 0400h. The circular stated.
The Safaricom service provider company announced that during this period, all the Mpesa services including sending money from Safaricom to other networks, receiving money, transferring money from KCB to mpesa, depositing money from Safaricom network to KCB bank, buying airtime among others will be temporarily unavailable.
The telecommunication company usually schedules its maintenance services during the stated time when it is likely to cause minimum inconvenience to the customers.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the scheduled time,” Safaricom service provider said.
Therefore all Safaricom network and KCB mobile banking customers are humbly urged to carry out any agent transaction before the scheduled maintenance.
