KCPE exams disrupted in 2 schools after banditry attack.
Baringo county has been experiencing rise in insecurity over the past few months following cases of banditry attacks.
Today KCPE Exams kicked off all over the country. However, the exams were disrupted in baringo county following banditry attack.
In Kapkosum village, Mochongoi, Baringo South, the tension is high after suspected banditry attack occurred in the area disrupting the ongoing KCPE exams in two schools within the region.
Not only the ongoing KCPE exams were disrupted even businesses came to a stand still in the better part of the morning during the raid. Luckily, the security situation has been normalized following the intervention of the Police security team as reported.
As mentioned earlier banditry attacks have increased in the recent past in the area. Unfortunately, the bandits are aiming at learning institutions. Baringo county has been the major concern due to insecurity cases which are rising at an alarming rate.
Last month, Tot High School teachers and students were attached by the bandits when they were on their way to school from a field trip. The incident left their bus driver dead.
The teachers and the students were using three buses from the field trip. The Bandits attacked one of the buses shooting indiscriminately at the passengers. 13 people were injured during the attack.
