KMTC advertises applications through KUCCPS portal
Students seeking to join the Kenya Medical Training College are free to apply for the Vacancies through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service portal.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service portal opened today, with 30 KMTC programmes available for grab.
The Programmes available at different levels are as follows :
* community health nursing
* mental health and psychiatry
* midwifery
* radiography and imaging
* medical laboratory sciences
* occupational therapy
* optometry
* pharmac
* physiotherapy
* public health
The application is open for individuals who completed their secondary examination between the year 2013 and 2022.
The applications deadline will be on early next month, August 4, 2023.
Dr. Mercy Wahome the CEO for KUCCPSKUCCPS said that this is a milestone because Kenya Medical Training College and Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service have a common objective of enhancing access to quality higher education and training opportunities in a manner that is equitable to all Kenyans.
Dr. Mercy Wahome added that providing the Kenya Medical Training College courses on the KUCCPS Portal will ensure equity, fairness and balanced access to the training opportunities.
In addition, KUCCPSKUCCPS has a database of the KCSE examination results of all the potential applicants, hence does not require applicants to provide their results.
Interested applicants can access the list of all the available programmes in the eighty three Kenya Medical Training College campuses countrywide, including the minimum subject requirements, in the KUCCPS Student’s Portal, students.kuccps.net.
With the entry of KMTC into the KUCCPS fold, the Placement Service now places students in degree, diploma, certificate and artisan courses in two hundred and eight nine public training institutions and thirty private universities in Kenya.
Meanwhile, the deadline for the ongoing application for placement to diploma programmes in primary Teacher Training Colleges has been extended to August 4, 2023.
All other application guidelines remain as previously advertised.
