KNEC: 2022 KCSE Certificates Dispatched To Schools
Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has dispatched 2022 KCSE certificates to schools.
KNEC has directed all students who sat the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) can now collect certificates from their respective schools.
On Friday the council announced that the examinations’ certificates were dispatched for verification and issuance to the bonafide candidates through their respective Sub-County Directors of Education (for Private Candidates) and Principals of Secondary Schools.
“The 2022 KCSE examination certificates for all eligible candidates have been dispatched to schools through their respective sub-county director of education offices.

Candidates and parents/guardians are hereby requested to collect the certificates from their institutions at the earliest opportunity” KNEC said on X.
Queries submitted online through the Query Management Information System (QMIS) must reach KNEC within 30 days of the certificates’ issuance.
“Queries about examination results/certificates must be made within thirty (30) days of the date of shipment and will incur a cost of Kshs. 5,000.00 payable via the Paybill number generated by QMIS following verification of the application filed.
Certificate queries presented in physical copy will not be considered, according to the examination authority.

Candidates who do not submit passport-size images by the deadline for printing will not receive the document.
What you should do after receiving the certificate.
Before issuing certificates to candidates, the following details must be verified:
1 Accuracy of Details
- Center name and candidate names;
- School code: # Candidates’ gender.
2. Print quality (that the certificate is not smudged or faded and is in good condition).
3 Hologram embossing and passport-sized image of the candidate. The passport-sized photograph embossed on the candidate’s certificate is identical to the one submitted to KNEC during the candidate’s registration.
4 The number of certificates delivered is as specified in the Checklist for each test centre and all candidates who meet the requirements for certificate award.
Any differences should be noted on the Acknowledgement form and reported to KNEC through the SCDE offices.

Of the 881,416 candidates that took the exams, 443,644 were men and 437,772 were women, accounting for 50.33 percent and 49.69 percent of the total candidacy, respectively.
