Kenyans are instructed by KNEC to finish outstanding KCSE matters in four years.
The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations have prompted the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) leadership to request that any complaints be submitted within the next four years.
All Kenyans have been given the chance to resolve outstanding issues by the council, according to a statement made by KNEC Chairman Prof. Julius Nyabundi on Monday at the announcement of the results of the 2023 exam.
On the other hand, in accordance with the KNEC Act, anyone who have concerns regarding the 2023 KCSE results have been asked to submit them within 30 days.
“Within the next four years, everybody with outstanding examination concerns ought to seize the chance that the Council has granted them. The remaining grievances will be resolved within the four years, following which the KCSE tests will be discontinued as the nation completely implements the CBC curriculum.
Those who would like to repeat the KCSE exams during the four-year period may do so.
The registration period for KPSEA and KCSE 2024 will open on January 29, 2024, and last for two months, ending on March 29, 2024, according to KNEC CEO Dr. David Njengere.
While acknowledging that KNEC typically has difficulties around this time, Njengere urged all principals of schools to ensure that all qualified applicants are registered on time.
“Please be aware that this year there won’t be any late registration. Njengere issued a warning, saying, “We are not going to extend the registration period by even one day.
Additionally, he asked parents to ensure that their children’s schools have registered them for the national exams.
