KNEC Revised Registration Fees For DECTE and DPTE Assessment 2022- Deadline for Registration
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released revised registration fees for training colleges offering Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) for 2022 formative and sumnative assessment.
KNEC now wishes to inform principals of Teacher Training Colleges DPTE and DECTE pre-service programmes that all teacher trainees enrolled in 2021 will be expected to undertake formative and summative assessment.
The registration fees and resit registration fees will be as indicated below:
The DECTE and DPTE pre-service programme teachers who had been provisionally registered in December 2021 should register with KNEC for 2022 assessments.
KNEC Has also directed principals to authenticate the candidates biodata in the KNEC portal http://cbate.knec.ac.ke not later than 6th May, 2022.
The principals are further expected to deposit the assessment fees at any of the KNEC Fee collection accounts below:
- Commercial bank,
- National Bank,
- Equity bank
- Cooperative bank.
The Principals are also required to submit all the registration documents Teacher Education section KNEC offices at New Mitihani house, South C not later than 13th May 2022.
