KRA Announces Jobs, How to Apply
On May 9, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) released job openings for applicants nationally.
To acquire positions, all job seekers between the ages of 18 and 35 were advised to submit their applications before Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
The taxman was looking for candidates to fill the position of Revenue Service Assistant, which involves overseeing the issuance of e-TIMS receipts by traders, actively engaging customers who buy goods from VAT-registered taxpayers or excisable items to ensure that the traders or taxpayers are in compliance, and keeping an eye on compliance with excise regulations.
Other duties included compiling weekly and monthly reports on active cases, sending notices of seizures for products seized for excise, intercepting communications, and examining tax receipts issued by businesses and taxpayers.
Guidelines
In accordance with the supplied application instructions, applicants were advised to submit all of their materials online.
After successfully registering on the Authority’s e-recruitment site, KRA urged interested individuals to submit an application for the position.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct, copies of the KRA Pin certificate, NHIF, NSSF, and ID cards were some prerequisites.
How to Submit Your Application
All applicants must go to erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login, click the Register button, and register in the KRA e-recruitment portal.

After registering, you’ll get an email asking you to verify your email address so you can finish the process.
The system will then launch the Application Cockpit when you input your username and password at erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and log in.
Go to the Candidate Profile section of the Application Cockpit, make the necessary updates, and then select the Overview and Release option.
Click on Employment Opportunities on the Applicant Cockpit page, choose the Job Search option, then press the Start button to view open job ads.
When you find a position that interests you, click the Apply button and complete the required fields.
After reading and approving the Data Privacy Statement, KRA advised, “Click the Send Application Now button to continue the application procedure.
