KUCCPS: KMTC September Intake Revision of Courses
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has announced KMTC applicants to revise their courses for September intake.
KUCCPS said that the deadline for the revision of KMTC courses is on July 12.
On June 9, KUCCPS called on students to start applying for KMTC courses for the September intake.
The students who applied for KMTC courses for September intake are urged to Log in to the KUCCPS Student’s Portal http://students.kuccps.net to check the status of your application,” the placement service said.
According to KUCCPS those who applied for the intake and have not secured a course are invited to choose other KMTC courses via the portal in the revision period.

Additionally, KUCCPS said the application targeted qualified KCSE candidates from 2014 to 2023 who wish to enrol in KMTC programmes.
Only qualified candidates who meet minimum requirements for a specific course are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
To apply, one is to access the student’s portal using the link students.kuccps.net or through the KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke.
The student then clicks the Login tab and inputs their KCSE Index Number, KCSE year and Password in the provided slots.
“Your password is your Birth Certificate Number or Your KCPE Index Number,” the placement service said.
Once logged in, the student will click “KMTC Programmes” to view available courses and their minimum requirements.
For ease of reference, KUCCPS asked students to download the PDF document that included the specifics of the different programs.
“Once you have decided on your preferred courses, you will be required to enter the Programme Codes,” said KUCCPS.
Next, the student will select “Apply Now” from the “KMTC Application” option.

The placement service stated, “From your most preferred course (No. 1) to your least preferred course (No. 4).”
According to KUCCPS, the applicant should wait for the system to retrieve all program details before clicking submit after inputting the program codes for any course they might be interested in.
On submitting, the applicant will be required to pay Sh1,500 and the portal will display the payment instructions.
