KUCCPS Portal Reopened for KMTC Placement for Students Who Missed Out
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has opened its portal for students who missed out on KMTCKMTC placement.
In a tweet, the placement service noted that it will be conducting a revision of choices for students who applied for KMTCKMTC courses under KUCCPSKUCCPS.
It added that the application process is free of charge and the revision period will take place from September 12 to 16.
The earlier deadline for application was August 4.
“Applied for KMTC courses through KUCCPS but missed? Log in to http://students.kuccps.net and choose another KMTC course, free of charge,” reads the notice.
“Eligible students have been urged to visit the KUUCPS portal; http://kuccps.ac.ke for more information.”
The portal has 30 Kenya Medical Training programmes available for application.
With the entry of KMTC into the KUCCPS fold, the placement service places students in degree, diploma, certificate and artisan courses in 289 public training institutions and 30 private universities in Kenya.
Programmes which are at diploma and certificate levels include community health nursing, mental health and psychiatry, midwifery, radiography and imaging, medical laboratory sciences, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy and public health, among others.
KUCCPS CEO Mercy Wahome said the application targets individuals who completed the KCSE examination from the year 2013 to 2022.
