Magoha’s tough warning to parents and students concerning schools unrest.
The Cabinet Secretary for Education Professor Magoha declares a serious warning to parents and students concerning the burning down of school properties due to students unrest.
The schools have been experiencing students unrest for the last few months. There are different reasons for these strikes that are taking place. Due to the students’ unrest dormitories and other school properties have either been torched down or destroyed.
Due to the rampant cases of students unrest, professor Magoha has today issued a warning not only to the students but also to the parents. The parents whose children have taken part in the strikes will meet the cost of reconstructing or repairing the damaged school property.
He further added that the government shall not contribute anything towards the reconstruction of the torched dormitories. The school Principals arrange how it can be done.
This news delivered by Magoha is bad news to the parents because they are the ones who will meet the entire cost for rebuilding damaged or burned school buildings.
The cost for rebuilding the burnt dormitories will be added as part of the fees and hence all parents whose children are schooling in the schools that are affected by the strikes must pay extra money other than the stipulated fees.
