A young girl from the continent of Africa has been ranked as the brightest student in the world.
The young girl who was identified as Fareedah Oyolola has made Africa proud after she performed exemplary well in her School and College Ability Test (SCAT) examinations. She got the highest score and emerged top student globally.
Fareedah Oyolola was honoured by The Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth as one of the world’s brightest students after her performance in the SCAT examinations.
According to Vanguard, the School and College Ability Test (SCAT) is administered s a criterion to any student before admission into the centre’s talent program.
Speaking about this great announcement, Fareedah Oyolola said that after answering all the 100 questions in the examination she emerged victorious.
She further appreciated her teachers for preparing and enriching her with knowledge and skills in her academic endeavours.
The executive director of the Centre, Virginia Roach expressed her joy for the good performance in SCAT examinations. Virginia also added that the girl’s achievement is a testament that our thinking school program is crucial to the students and it helps them to develop mentally strengthening their cognitive abilities.
John Hopkins programme is an initiative meant to nurture young boys and girls. A student who passes the SCAT examination is expected to attend a summer program in Hong Kong or America.
Besides Fareedah Oyolola, News Media earlier reported that Faith Odunsi from Nigeria emerged the Global winner of the Open Mathematics Tournament which is an international competition having participants from Africa, America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
The two genius girls have made the Continent of Africa proud of their excellent performance across the world.
