Ministry Of Public Service has advertised job opportunities and has consequently invited applications from qualified members of the public.
In an advertisement on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, public service commission announced recruitment 745 personnel in the ministry.
The application window will close on January 5, 2022.
The announcement of the job vacancies is good news to unemployed youths amidst harsh economic times and qualified candidates are advised to apply.
The vacancies to be filled are spread across 10 state departments including; Fisheries, Devolution, Tourism, East African community, Northern Corridor Development, Trade, Physical Planning, Public works, Kenya Prisons Service and Shipping and Maritime.

Qualified candidates are required to visit Public Service Commission portal pscjobs.co.ke to apply. All applications are purely online.
For those applying for the first time, are required to register via the portal and provide all personal information as requested before proceeding to the application process.
Once you are registered, you are required to log in into the system using the ID/Passport Number and the Password created above.
Applicants are required to fill out all personal information, provide professional and academic qualifications, experience, membership to professional bodies, referees and any other relevant information is provided before submitting the application.
Incomplete applications with missing personal and academic qualifications or documents as required will be rejected.
The applicants are advised to print and keep a copy of the application summary by clicking on the Report tab or Application Summary link on the Application Menu.
The Online Recruitment and Selection system allows applicants to amend their application at any time before the application window lapses.

The Kenya Prisons has the lion share of 611 vacancies followed by Fisheries with 40 vacancies.
340 people will fill the role of Superintendent of Prisons post, 126 will fill the position of Senior Superintendent of Prisons, Assistant Commissioner of Prisons position has 35 vacant slots.
