Multimedia University of Kenya student goes missing Under Unclear Circumstances
A Multimedia University of Kenya student who is in second year goes missing under unclear circumstances.
The second year student was identified as Brian Wanjala Wabwire went missing on 4th October 2021 from the Multimedia University of Kenya main campus on Magadi Road.
His college mates reported that Brian Wanjala was seen in the company of his girlfriend moments before he went missing. He was leaving the University compound to hostels located at the Maasai Lodge area, from there he went missing.
The standard media team was informed by his friends that Wanjala looked disturbed on the day he went missing from the premises.
A close friend also reported that Wanjala had been threatened with unspecified consequences by a person he owed sh 8, 000.
Wanjala is a student of Bachelor of Applied Communication.
On October 5, a case was filed by his college mates after they reported to Ongata Rongai Police Station under the OB Number 87/5/10/2021.
Wanjala’s mother, a resident of Sinoko village in Kanduyi Constituency in Bungoma County has urged police officers to intensify the investigation into his disappearance.
“I last spoke with him on October 4 in morning hours before he was reported missing,” said Eunice Wabwire, the student’s mother.
His mother reported that on 4th October Brian spoke to his younger brother who is set to join Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology where he advised his younger brother to keep good companies once he joins campus and to take his studies seriously.
