1. Housekeeper
Job description: full time job in Nairobi muthaiga golf club (Hospitality & Leisure).
Monthly salary of between 45,000 – 60,000 Kenya shillings.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor in hospitality and hotel
Experience of five years minimum
RESPONSIBILITIES
✓Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of entire club
✓Ensure that all public spaces are cleaned on a daily basis.
✓All rooms must be maintained and set as per the club’s standard.
✓Conduct monthly training to both internal and external cleaners
✓Prepare annual housekeeping budget.
✓Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
✓Produce weekly reports for management, highlighting the costs, schedules and effective areas for improvement.
✓The head housekeeper is responsible for working with the procurement department in selecting cleaning suppliers.
✓Report any deflects or problems to the maintenance team.
✓Manage the housekeeping operating budgets.
2. Waiters/Waitresses
Job Description
Full time job in food and beverage sales and service, muthaiga golf club in Nairobi.
Hospitality experience of at least 2 years.
Monthly salary of between 15,000 to 30,000 Kenya shillings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
~ Serve food and drinks as per the guest order.
~ Provide memorable excellent customer service to guests.
~ Welcoming members and their guests by escorting them to their tables.
~ Present the menu to members and their guests and provide detailed information especially on ingredients, or potential food allergies.
~ Offer menu recommendations upon request from the members and their guest(s).
~ Take accurate food and drinks order using the captain order and POS ordering software.
~ Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy and clean dining area.
~ Do all table clearance and replacement with tact and precision.
~ Report to work as per the allocated shift.
~ Any other duties assigned from time to time.
