The government of Kenya is set to discipline workers who fail to receive the Covid-19 vaccine by 23rd August 2021.
The Government has the task to ensure that every Kenyan is safe from the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
Covid-19 has made nearly everyone in the world insecure with the fear of how the pandemic is claiming the lives of many people globally.
The education sector has been hit hard. Recently TSC released a report saying that a total of 73 teachers have passed on due to the Covid-19 pandemic and hence though measures should be put in place in schools to curb the virus.
The projection of possible infections in schools is across all the 47 counties worrying the country.
The government is disturbed after receiving reports that the majority of teachers have deliberately refused to go for the vaccine despite being given first priority.
Nonetheless, over 200,000 teachers and other civil servants have been dealt a blow. The Government is set to subject those workers who will have no been vaccinated by 23rd August to disciplinary action.
