South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has heaped praise on his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto saying he is a good sales man.
Speaking at KICC, Nairobi, where a delegation from Kenya and South Africa met for business talks, the South African president said Ruto has been pitching business ideas to him since he arrived in the country.
“He is a very good salesman, all morning, he has been trying to sell me Kenyan tea, avocado and all that,” he said.
The South African leader said he is also impressed by how his Kenyan colleague, Ruto, is fit”He looks very fit, I don’t know whether he was a boxer, he was able to twist my arm and we were able to come to an agreement,” he said.
Ramaphosa said business people should take up all the business opportunities that are available in both countries.
“I want to see Kenyan tea in South Africa. We are happy to support and unlock opportunities for trade between the two countries.”
