It Is Illegal to Have Money in an Exam room and teachers Found With Huge Sums will be arrested, Magoha warns
Professor George Magoha has issued yet another warning concerning possession of money during the exam period. He has warned the candidates that it is illegal to have money in an examination room.
The cabinet secretary further directed that all candidates should surrender their monies to the center manager who is there principal before beginning their examination.
The cabinet secretary for ministry of education further warned that any teacher who will be caught with huge amounts of money in an examination room will be apprehended. The cabinet secretary was speaking this morning in muranga county.
However, professor Magoha did not quote the exact amounts of money that are not allowed in an examination room. He just mentioned that teachers and candidates should not be in possession ot huge sums of money in an Exam room.
The Cabinet Secretary further urged all candidates to shun engaging in any form of exam cheating.
He asked the invigolators to frisk the candidates thoroughly before they can be allowed into the examination rooms to ensure that they are not having huge sums of money in their possession and to curb cheating by making sure that no learner carries any unwanted material to the exam room.
The reason why the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education Professor George Magoha is warning both the teachers and candidates against possessing large amount of money in examination rooms is because the money could be used to alter or compromise the credibility of the exams.
