Raila Urges Ruto To Censor DP Gachagua For One Reason
President William Ruto has been urged by Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga to censor Rigathi Gachagua.
On Wednesday, Odinga expressed his opinion that Gachagua addresses some Kenyans in a patronizing way when speaking exclusively to KTN News.
“It is tragic for this nation to have a man of Mr. Gachagua’s caliber serving as Deputy President. Gachagua shouldn’t even be in charge of a chicken coop with the way he conducts himself and speaks. “He talks about the rest of the nation with such disdain,” Odinga stated.
He continued, “It is as if he is the Deputy President of Mt Kenya only, other parts of the country do not matter as far as he is concerned.”
Gachagua’s comment that the government operates like a business where the main stockholders profit was another offense to Odinga.
Even worse, he claims Kenya is a shareholder firm. that some communities have more shares, while others have less shares, or none at all. that individuals who don’t own shares can’t expect anything from our government.
He claims they are not shareholders after forgetting that the same government collects taxes from the entire nation. I would like to openly request that Mr. Ruto censor his deputy because it would be disrespectful to the nation for him to accompany Mr. Gachagua to Western, Coast, or Nyanza if he did not acknowledge these people as shareholders, added Odinga.
Gachagua compared the government to a corporation with a majority of its shareholders who support it when speaking at a previous event in Kericho County.
“You made an investment in this government, and now you must profit. You planted, tilled, applied manure, and irrigated; now it’s time to reap, according to the DP.
