Robbery Ringleader Olenguruone Police Officer Fired
Olenguruone police officer has been fired after a robber in the town revealed that the officer has been leading a team of robbers in the town.
The residents of Olenguruone town have for a long time experienced sudden distress bought by high crime rates. Locals have has been seeking help from Olenguruone police station officers but their laxity has always left the residents helpless.
A time has come when the truth has been revealed. A robber who was arrested by other officers and taken to the station has exposed one of the officers in the station as a ringleader of robbery in the town. The man was caught stealing in the area.
This man exposed the police officer after a series of questioning over alarming robbery and violence in the town.
DCI officers from Keringet sub-county headquarters after they were informed of the revelations stormed the officer’s home at Bondo to investigate and ascertain the truth of the matter.
Surprisingly, the DCI officers found heaps of stolen property banged up in the rented house.
According to the arrested man, the mentioned officer used ordered him to steal goods every day and deliver them to him.
“He ordered me to steal goods every day. When I tried to stop many times he threatened to kill me. I had no opinion rather than doing it again and again. I would deliver all the stolen goods to his house”. The man narrated.
The man further revealed that the shocking act has been taking place for more than one year now.
The officer was served with an interdiction letter and is being held at the Keringet police station as further investigation into the matter continues.
The station OCS urged the locals to stay calm as the law would take its course.
After this shocking revelation, the locals expressed their happiness saying they had suffered for a long and it come to a time God has heard their voice.
