ICU wards with Covid-19 patients filled with unvaccinated individuals.
The government of Kenya has been in the move to ensure Kenyans more especially civil servants get the covid-19 jab.
Some civil servants and other citizens have been reluctant to take the covid-19 vaccine following various myths on the effects of the jab.
The unvaccinated Kenyans have been today dealt a huge blow after the latest report from the ministry of health on the category of patients dominating ICU beds in wards with Covid 19 patients.
According to People Daily, a report has that it has been established that more than 85 per cent of the covid-19 patients are in ICU wards across all hospitals. In every 70 patients admitted in Intensive Care Unit, 60 patients are unvaccinated
This statistical data was collected between 1st August and 12th September 2021 in health facilities.
Another survey conducted by Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) revealed that of 102 Covid-19 patients in ICU, 97 were not vaccinated. This translates to 95 per cent.
Finally, last month it was hinted
that the worst-hit group of people by the fourth wave of Covid-19 pandemic was a group of unvaccinated patients
