Safaricom Announces Interruption Of It’s Key Services Early Next Week
Mobile Service Provider Safaricom has announced a 3-hour interruption of M-Pesa services to allow for planned system maintenance.
The firm, through a statement released on Friday 8th July said that the regular maintenance will take place on the mornings of Sunday 10th July 2022 from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM, and Monday 11th July 2022 from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM
During this maintenance the following services will be unavailable: Airtime top up and all balance enquiries,Data bundle purchase, Okoa Jahazi and Tunukiwa services, SIM Swaps, Bonga Points earning and redemption and All tariff changes including joining or leaving Safaricom PostPay.
The Telco noted that all other services including calls, data, SMS, and M-PESA services will remain available as usual.
“The timing of this maintenance activity has been planned to result in the least of inconvenience to our customers. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support as we strive to enable you achieve even more through our innovations.” Stated Safaricom.
