Kisumu day will face Highway in the semi-finals in the ongoing National Secondary Schools Games in Nakuru county.
Kisumu day booked a ticket in the semi-final following a huge victory against Olbolsal on Saturday.
Olbolsal lost to Kisumu day 6-0 on Saturday at Nakuru to grant Kisumu way a chance to pay in the semi final scheduled tomorrow.
Veron Okeyo scored a hat-trick with Peter Musila, Tyson Ouma and Emmanuel Owino each scoring one goal to place Kisumu day on top of the table in Group B.
Kisumu Day will now face now face Group Highway from pool A in the semifinal on Sunday as Ebwali take on Kabarnet who held Serani in a one-all draw to reach the last four.
Kamal Ali scored for Serani to put them ahead in the 12th minute before Chudier Luel scored an equalizer goal for the hosts in the 63rd minute. Chudier’s shot slip off Serani keeper following a huge rainfall.
In the girls category Wiyeta girls (former champions) will face their Rift valley counterparts Itigo in the first semis.
Nairobi’s Dagoretti Mixed will then play in the second semis against Mwira.
The semi final qualifiers for the Monday Secondary school games will book a slot for the Arusha trip to be held next week.
